Performing Manufacturing Operations NVQ Diploma Level 2
COURSE OUTLINE
This qualification is designed for those seeking recognition of their competence in one or more of a wide range of manufacturing activities such as; transferring materials, producing shaped products, product assembly, producing products by joining and processing operations, finishing products and producing packaged products, product inspection activities.
This qualification is suitable for anyone responsible for the day-to-day running of equipment and the quality of work they produce, and where the role requires them to have some responsibilities for monitoring and controlling the equipment, and make decisions which affect the manufacturing process.
Participants should be working in a manufacturing environment, and have the potential to reach the requirements for this qualification
AIMS OF THE COURSE
Participants will:
- Be able to demonstrate safe working practices and procedures
- Have good knowledge and understanding of the relevant techniques, materials, tools and equipment required to carry out the activities
- To identify and related faults and solve problems within their scope of authority
- Ensure the work output meets the specified standards
DURATION
The programme can be completed between 6 to 12 months
Courses are subject to minimum number participation. Bespoke training is available in all courses subject to agreement.
