MJD’s mission is to design and manufacture specialist Point of Sale (POS) display solutions that ‘inspire shoppers to purchase products’ in the retail arena.  Using its’ own brand of unique and award-winning design solutions the Company pride itself in exceeding client expectations.

With its client-centred approach, MJD has brought consistency and stability to a dynamic and rapidly changing retail environment and developed both strong staff teams’ internally and loyal external customer partnerships by “Taking the stress out of the POS process” .

In a very challenging commercial climate MJD decided to improve its competitive edge by investing in the skills of its workforce.  Track Training Limited were chosen because of their expertise in Lean and their ability to offer flexible work-based solutions with the benefit of Government funding

Over an extended period of time Track’s lean trainer and industry specialist worked closely with staff at MJD to manage project teams, gain their respect and commitment and to mentor them through their respective projects to conclusion.  All staff went on to achieve the Diploma NVQ in Business Improvement Techniques – a nationally accredited qualification recognised across many industries and respective supply chains.

“Track’s engaging training delivery has made the whole process not only enjoyable but has given the teams concerned practical business improvement techniques to apply in their everyday work which are already beginning to bear fruit.”
