  • Malcolm Sanders, MBE

    Malcolm Sanders, MBE

    Chief Executive Officer

    Malcolm Sanders is a highly accomplished and successful entrepreneur who received an MBE from the Queen in 2005 for his services to industry.  Malcolm has twenty-five years of board level experience following a previously successful international career building a European design and manufacturing joint venture with a leading Japanese Electronics multinational company.

     

    Malcolm has also spent 16 years forging highly profitable and multi-million pound businesses and acquisitions (£3M to £100M in size) in the European Electronics sub-contracting sector and the service arenas of Education, Training and IT Consultancy.  Malcolm developed, planned, delivered and managed the largest IT and Training Consultancies in Wales.

     

    Over the years Malcolm has worked closely with Government Departments, industry representative bodies (such as the IOD, JWEC and EEF) and international manufacturing businesses to help guide and support strategic management, advise on corporate governance, inform on systems compliance, forge strategic alliance building, guide tender writing, provide coaching and consultancy and support corporate leadership.

     

  • Dean Sanders

    Dean Sanders

    Managing Director

    Dean Sanders is the Managing Director of Track Training Limited and has achieved over 14 years’ board level experience as a senior manager, director and owner manager in the training and education sector.  A specialist practitioner in Lean and Business Improvement Techniques, Dean has worked with international companies in the UK and Middle East assisting with their high growth strategies and business efficiency implementation programmes. 

     

    Dean has worked closely with the Welsh Government’s Skills Growth Wales programme, delivering on target skills impacts for many leading Welsh business clients.  Dean has also established contracts with a range of leading further education colleges in England and Wales for the delivery of work-based training programmes in specialist areas such as Business Improvement, Management development and Team Leading. 

     

    Dean aims for Track Training , already a leading national training provider, to become the largest privately owned deliverer of apprenticeship frameworks and work-based programmes operating in both Wales and England.

     

  • Alan Horton

    Alan Horton

    Director

    Alan Horton leads our leadership and management programmes up to executive level, working closely with the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) and delivering bespoke development programmes for the senior managers of many internationally renowned organisations.  He is also much in demand as an executive coach and for his conference speaking, delivering his engaging views on a wide range of topics linked to growing organisational performance through lean leadership.

     

    Alan is an internationally renowned expert in building highly effective organisational performance through developing leaders and managers to play their full part in this journey.  The consultancy firm he founded, The Leadership Centre (TLC), has been engaged for over 20 years by many of the World’s leading organisations in the private and public sector to research, develop and facilitate personal and organisational development approaches that have led to World Class achievements.

  • Neil Skinner

    Neil Skinner

    Technical Director

    Neil Skinner is degree qualified and trained as a manufacturing engineer.  He is experienced in the operational delivery of B-IT and Quality Management Systems.  Neil is a technical expert in the plastics industry and after 25 years in manufacturing moved into the education sector.  He is now an experienced trainer across a wide range of management and operational improvement disciplines and is a technical author for a leading awarding body.

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

  • Martin Morgan-Evans

    Martin Morgan-Evans

    Commercial Manager

    Martin Morgan-Evans joined Track Training in April 2013 as an Account Executive. Martin has studied Business and Management to degree level and worked in the manufacturing industry for several years, working in various departments from Manufacturing Engineer through to Continuous improvement and working for a large oil company as a Contracts Manager responsible for all operations in the South of the UK.

    Martin has recently completed a Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Business Improvement Techniques as a work-based learning qualification. Martin is currently undertaking a Level 5 Senior Management Apprenticeship qualification.

    Marina Wooding

    Finance & Office Manager

    Marina Wooding has over 20 years’ experience of financial management gained in both the education sector and the biotechnology research sector.  She also manages a growing team of administrators and assessors.  Marina is currently undertaking and implementing a B-IT office programme.

    Shian Pope

    Project Co-Ordinator

    Shian Pope has 20 years experience of working in the training and education sector in a variety of roles including management, trainer, assessor, Internal Verifier and business development.  ILM Level 5 qualified with the Institute of Leadership and Management and Business Improvement Techniques qualified. Shian is a Project Co-ordinator working on training and assessment projects with leading companies in Wales and England.

  • Phil O'Brien

    Phil O'Brien

    Sales Manager

    Phil O'Brien is an experienced sales professional and has worked in the training industry for over 15 years.  Phil brings a wealth of knowledge to employer clients on training and funding opportunities that exist for businesses across England and Wales.  He can advise on your Apprenticeship Levy strategy and on funding that exists to support Lean Deployment strategies.  

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

  • Nicola Parry

    Nicola Parry

    Operations Manager

    Nicola Parry is a specialist trainer of Foundation and Entry Level adult learners. She has 20 years industry experience working as a trainer/assessor and previously managed a successful outreach education centre. 

     

    Nicola is in her final year of a teaching degree, is IOSH qualified and is currently undertaking a B-IT diploma programme to get closer to understanding learner needs at Level 2. Nicola has recently moved into a Project Co-ordinator role managing training and assessment for leading companies in Wales and England. 

      

     

     

     

  • Hannah Sanders

    Hannah Sanders

    Operations Administrator

    Hannah is a graduate in English Language and Drama from the University of the West of England, and she joined Track Training in November 2010 as Operations Administrator.  Her main duties involve administration, data entry, purchasing, resolving queries, and most importantly, registrations and certifications; both requiring careful data input. 

     

    Hannah has undertaken an advanced level certificate in Microsoft Excel and an improver’s level certificate in computer training for Microsoft Access.  She is currently undertaking a Business Improvement Techniques diploma driving workplace efficiencies in office processes.

     

      

     

     

     

  • Daniel Jeanes

    Daniel Jeanes

    Sales Manager

    Daniel joined Track Training in 2011 as Sales Executive, having already gained several years experience of Business Development within the training industry, creating opportunities primarily in the manufacturing, management, construction and adult education sector. His responsibilities within Track Training include building relationships with new and existing clients and managing the Sales process.

     

    Daniel holds a degree in Business Studies and Marketing as well as a Level 5 Senior Management Modern Apprenticeship, a Level 4 City and Guilds qualification in Project Management and Levels 2 and 3 NVQs in Business Improvement Techniques. 

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

  • Andrew Aitken

    Andrew Aitken

    Project Specialist

    Andrew has gained in excess of twenty years’ experience within the manufacturing sector. A specialist in HR, he has been held responsibility for this function at management levels within the Automotive and IT industries. 

     

    He has led numerous highly successful Lean and Continuous Improvement programmes within World-Class Electronics and Six Sigma recognised Automotive environments.

    With a genuine interest in organisational and individual Training and Development he has latterly taken these skills further as a workplace Tutor and led successful leadership, cost reduction, Six Sigma and lean culture change programmes within a variety of electronic, mechanical and food production facilities.

     

    A member of the Institute of Personnel & Development and the British Psychological Society, Andrew has also delivered ILM Level 5 qualifications and gained considerable experience as a mentor and coach. 

  • Matthew Shirley

    Matthew Shirley

    IQA

    Matthew has worked in both the Catering industry and the Care sector at Management level, and has worked with adults with learning difficulties. He has level 4 Management qualifications and many years experience delivering and assessing National Vocational Qualifications in Health and Social Care, Key Skills, Team Leading and Management to level 3.   

    Matthew is a qualifed Internal Quality Assurance auditor and a qualified ILM Trainer and Assessor. As well as being one of Track Training's Trainer/Assessors, Matthew is also now part of our Internal Quality Assurance team - ensuring qualification standards and improvements are met through training, assessment and verification of the learning journey of candidates in line with the National Standards.

     

     

     

  • Jane Ransom

    Jane Ransom

    Project Co-Ordinator

    Jane has 18 years’ experience as a trainer. She spent twelve months as a consultant trainer for T Mobile and her previous roles have included Retail Systems training and as a Business Support Manager for Toby Restaurants in addition to actually running pubs, restaurants & hotels for nine years herself with turnovers in excess of a million pounds. She has also worked as an Installer & Trainer for Micros Fidelio.

     

    Since joining Track Training Jane has been responsible for spearheading the delivery of the NEA Energy Awareness Level 3 qualification to SSE after first gaining the qualification herself and then being accredited as an examiner for the programme. She is also a specialist in Management Development & Customer Service training and has designed numerous bespoke training courses to meet clients varied needs. 

     

  • Robert Paul

    Robert Paul

    Project Co-Ordinator

    Robert started life as an Underground Colliery Electrician. After the closure of the local coalmine, Robert entered into the manufacturing sector and one of the fastest growing operations in the South Wales area, Plastic Injection Moulding. Here Robert was introduced to management and leadership training with Deloitte and went on to gain a Management Diploma and subsequently succeeding in various management roles with several of the major players in the industry.

     

    After forging a career in manufacturing Robert sought a fresh challenge and moved into the training and education sector. Robert is now degree qualified and has gained a wealth of experience working in the sector in a variety of roles including management, trainer, assessor and Internal Verifier. Robert is currently the Project Coordinator for England for the ILM Management, ILM Team Leading, PMO and BIT qualifications. Robert is NEBOSH qualified and has achieved a Level 4 qualification with the Institute of Leadership and Management 

  • Andrew Iles

    Andrew Iles

    Quality Manager

    Andrew is an experienced Quality and Systems manager, with an extensive career in the education and training sector in Wales and England.  Andrew joined Track Training Limited in 2014 as Quality Manager and supports due diligence with awarding bodies and college partners. Andrew recently introduced a quality management system in pursuit of ISO9001 accreditation and implemented Office 365 as an intranet to support distance learning.

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

  • Gwyn Sanders

    Gwyn Sanders

    Sales Executive

    Gwyn Sanders has some 50 years of experience in Sales and Marketing, all of which have been transferred seamlessly to his vital role as one of the first points of contact at Track Training.

     

    After graduating from Cardiff Art College in the 60s, Gwyn Sanders started working in Graphic Design for an Agency in the Welsh Capital , after learning the ropes in a Design Studio he decided to establish his own Consultancy in the early 70s, after seeing a gap in the market.

     

    Gwyn felt that companies were seeking a Multi – Service Agency that provided branding and printing so he established Neo- Print Design which would later become Sanders and Sanders Consultancy securing and retaining a number of National Blue Chip Accounts, his company produced magazines for a number of National Health Boards and the Travel Industry ,as well as producing corporate image materials for companies such as Wilkinson Sword, South Glamorgan Health Board and the Wales Tourist Board.

     

    Gwyn became part of Track Training six years ago, bringing his wealth of experience and extensive client liaison know-how to his role at this Leading National Training Provider.

  • Melissa Wells

    Melissa Wells

    Trainer/Assessor

    Melissa has been delivering and assessing NVQ qualifications for 22 years. She spent 16 years working in the Banking customer service sector in various roles including Continuous Improvement Co-ordinator and site NVQ Co-ordinator, and for the past 11 years she has worked exclusively in the adult education sector delivering NVQ qualifications, Apprenticeships and short courses in Team Leading and Management, Business Improvement Techniques, Business Administration and Customer Services.

     

    Melissa holds a degree in Leadership and Management as well as Levels 3, 4 and 5 NVQ’s in Management, a Level 2 NVQ and Technical Certificate in Business Improvement Techniques, a Level 3 in Business Administration, a Level 4 Technical Certificate in Recruitment, IOSH Managing Safely, Assessor and IQA qualifications.

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

  • Neil Harding

    Neil Harding

    Neil joined the team at Track in October 2016 as a transferable skills specialist. Neil has worked in the work based learning sector for over 12 years as a trainer/assessor, skills tutor and ESW co-ordinator. Neil has also delivered training and educational courses in secondary schools across South Wales. Previously Neil was an assistant manager in the retail and leisure sectors.

     

    Neil holds his PCeT, is qualified at level 5 literacy support, level 3 digital literacy and level 2 application of number practitioner, along with level 4 advice and guidance, level 3 management, level 3 learning & development and all essential/key skills at level 3. He is also accredited with level 5 support in dyslexia from the British Dyslexic Association.

     

    Neil has sat on the development group for WEST (Wales Essential Skills Toolkit) since 2014, liaising with Welsh Government and Tribal in the design and functionality of the new mandatory initial and diagnostic testing tool kit and is an active member in the ESW NTFW and Colleges network groups.

  • Paul Harris

    Paul Harris

    Paul worked in the car manufacturing industry for over 20 years specialising in injection moulding, power presses and metallurgy, followed by working in conjunction with Coleg-Sir-Gars Engineering Department for several years while working in the car manufacturing industry setting up BIT training programmes. Paul then went on to Supervisor and Management roles including Human Resources for a few years.

     

    When Paul left the manufacturing industry he started working for Coleg-Sir-Gar assessing in several companies, and then later on became a member of the CMI and became employed as a consultant working on Management level 4

     

    Paul joined Track Training in 2011 using his vast experience to deliver Lean Business Improvement Techniques Programmes for Tracks customers throughout England and Wales.
